Ramadan Quran Competition

Winnipeg Islamic Centre is organizing a Manitoba wide Ramadan Quran Competition for children and youth.

The Eight Categories of Competition:

  1. The Entire Quran
  2. 20 Juz of the Quran
  3. 10 Juz of the Quran
  4. 5 Juz of the Quran
  5. 3 Juz of the Quran
  6. 2 Juz of the Quran
  7. 1 Juz of the Quran
  8. Half Juz of the Quran

For Adults, there will be a Quran competition for Surah Al-Baqarah,

Here are the Four Categories:

  1. The Entire Surah Al-Baqarah
  2. Two Thirds of Surah Al-Baqarah
  3. One Half of Surah Al-Baqarah
  4. The First Juz of Surah Al-Baqarah

The Competition will take place both in Person and Virtually.

The Location will be Bilal Centre on 33 Warnock St, Winnipeg. 

The Exams will be held every Saturdays and Sundays from the Beginning Ramadan until March 30th (Ramadan 20th).

The Judges will evaluate both the Tajweed and Memorization skills of the students

A visiting Qari from Morocco and other local imams will be the judges of this competition.

The Awards Ceremony will be on Sunday, the 28th of Ramadan (April 7, 2024), before the Iftar at Bilal Centre. The Iftar will be sponsored.
